Jonathan Dorfman

Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer
Jon Dorfman is a Managing Principal and CIO of Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Jon was previously Co-CEO and CIO of CCA. He was a co-founder of Carlton Hill Global Capital ("CHGC"), a specialized asset management firm that was acquired by Citi in 2007. Prior to establishing CHGC in 2005, Jon spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley in the Fixed Income Division. He worked in Tokyo and London for 17 years and served as a Managing Director for 8 years. While at Morgan Stanley, Jon held numerous senior management positions including Co-Head of the Global Investment Grade Credit Group and Head of Global Credit Derivative and Asset Swap Trading Group. Among the innovators and early risk takers in the credit default swap, credit index (Tracers and CDX) and tranched risk credit markets, Jon served as an ISDA committee member responsible for the first standardized credit default swap contract. Jon earned a BSE degree, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
 

Jim O’Brien

Managing Principal
Jim O’Brien is a Managing Principal of Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Jim was previously Co-CEO of CCA. Jim was a co-founder of Carlton Hill Global Capital (“CHGC”), a specialized asset management firm that was acquired by Citi in 2007. Prior to establishing CHGC in 2005, Jim spent 19 years at Morgan Stanley in the Fixed Income Division. He worked in London for 5 years and served as a Managing Director for 12 years. Over the course of his career at Morgan Stanley, Jim held numerous senior management positions including Co-Head of the Global Corporate Credit Group, Co-Head of the Global Investment Grade Credit Group, Head of Global Cash Corporate Trading, Head of Global Credit Research and Head of European Corporate Bond and ABS trading. He spent his first eight years at Morgan Stanley in the US International Sales and Product Management Group. Jim began his career in the Unit Investment Trust Division of Merrill Lynch. He has been honored with Service and Humanitarian awards from Team Walker, Inner City Education Foundation and Seton Hall University. Jim earned a BS degree in Finance from Seton Hall University.
 

Michael Williams

Co-President
Michael Williams is a Senior Managing Director and Co-President of Napier Park Global Capital where he is responsible for all platform operations and financing activities. As such, he leads the Operations, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management activities. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (CCA), in February 2013. Michael was previously the Chief Operating Officer for CCA; responsible for Operations, Finance, Human Resources and IT for the platform as well as Chief Financial Officer for Market Strategies. Prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors in 2007, he was the CFO of Carlton Hill Global Capital (CHGC), where he helped launch the firm in 2006. Prior to CHGC, he worked as a Principal in charge of middle office services for credit derivative and structured financial products at Bank of America Securities and as a Vice President with JPMorgan Chase. As a Director at Barclays Capital, he oversaw certain risk management and product control operations with respect to interest rate and credit derivative products. Michael began his career as a global swap trade analyst for Merrill Lynch. Michael earned a BS degree in Finance from Providence College.
 

Tim Greatorex

Co-President
Tim Greatorex is a Senior Managing Director and Co-President of Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”), where he is responsible for overseeing business and product development with respect to both portfolio management and client activities.  As such, he leads the effort on product design and structuring as well as being responsible for management of the sales and marketing process.  Prior to joining Napier Park in 2015, Tim worked in Citigroup’s Treasury for 4 years as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Citi Treasury Investments managing a $250 billion liquidity and investment portfolio across rates, mortgages, and credit.  Tim also had responsibility for Citigroup’s US Pension Plan.  Before becoming CIO, Tim spent over 15 years in alternative asset management at Citi, focusing on product and business development and was latterly Co-Head of Global Credit Structures, the group responsible for structured credit product. Prior to joining Citi, Tim spent 4 years at British Gas where he was responsible for capital markets and derivative activity.  Tim began his career at Midland Montagu in the assessment and management of market risk. Tim holds a first class honors degree in Economics from Loughborough University in the UK.
 

Serhan Secmen

Global Head of CLO Management Platform
Serhan Secmen is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Global CLO Platform at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors in August 2008, Serhan was a CLO trader at Lehman Brothers. Prior to his post at Lehman Brothers, he spent several years in Texas as a project manager focusing on special project financing. During his tenure at Napier Park, Serhan has assisted in the development of multiple proprietary analytics systems and has been influential in the various strategies and methodologies for analyzing CLOs and other structured products. Since 2006, Serhan has also been involved in various industry forums and networks, including the investor roundtables for Moody's, S&P, and Fitch Ratings. He frequently appears as a speaker at multiple industry conferences and panels. Serhan holds an MBA degree from Wharton School of Business, an MS degree from Texas A&M University, and a BS degree from Bogazici University in Turkey.
 

Michael Micko

Head of European Credit
Michael Micko is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Michael joined CCA in August 2004, bringing approximately 15 years of relevant experience to the team. Prior to joining CCA, Michael headed high yield at Mellon Newton Investment Management. Previously, Michael was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust International focusing on Leverage Finance, and he also held the role as Treasurer of a listed corporate high yield issuer. Michael has a MBA from The Richard Ivey School in Canada (1991), has attended London Business School, and holds ME (Industrial Engineering) (1988) and BS (Electrical Engineering) (1987) degrees from the University of Alberta, Canada.
 

Rajesh Agarwal

Head of US Mortgages & Consumer
Rajesh Agarwal is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of US Mortgages & Consumer Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors in March 2008, Rajesh was a Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager in HSPI, LP formerly affiliated with Halcyon from 2006-2008. Prior to joining Halcyon from 2004-2006, Rajesh was a Senior Analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (“MLIM”), where he served as lead analyst for asset selection across residential housing sectors (Prime/Alt-A/Sub-Prime) and CDOs for three high-grade CDO deals launched and managed by MLIM. Prior to joining ABS/MBS research, he worked in the Global Markets and Investment Banking group at Merrill Lynch from 1998-2004. From 1996-1998, Rajesh was a Senior Engineer at Simulation Sciences, Inc., where he developed simulation algorithms used by the chemical industry. Rajesh received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
 

Daniel Slotkin

Global CLO Portfolio Manager
Daniel Slotkin is a Senior Managing Director and Global CLO Portfolio Manager at Napier Park. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Daniel Slotkin joined Citi in 1991 and prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors’ Leveraged Loan Investments team in 1998, Daniel worked in the Airlines Asset Distribution Department, Capital Markets Origination, Leveraged Loan Structuring and in the Relationship Management areas of Citi’s corporate bank. During his tenure in Leveraged Loan Investments, Daniel has led bank loan trading, portfolio strategy, loan workouts and worked as a credit analyst. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida.
 

Ram Putcha

Head of US Single Name & Credit Derivatives
Ram Putcha is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the US Single Name & Credit Derivatives strategy at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in March 2012, Ram spent close to four years as the Head of Relative Value/Credit Strategies at Citi Principal Strategies (“CPS”). At CPS, Ram ran over $500mm of trading capital in a proprietary trading portfolio that focused on relative value. In addition to credit long/short trades, the portfolio also focused on tranches, options and cross asset trades (such as equity vs. credit). Before his various roles at Citi, Ram was a Partner at Old Lane, a multi-strategy hedge fund that launched in April 2006 with over $4 billion in AUM. While at Old Lane, Ram was in charge of the firm’s credit strategies business. In this role, Ram oversaw two distinct portfolios: one that focused on loans and high yield, and another that focused on relative value trading across asset classes with an emphasis on finding mispriced opportunities in credit and equity products (including cash bonds, CDS, equities vs. credit, options and tranches). Prior to joining Old Lane at its inception, Ram worked at Morgan Stanley for over 20 years in a variety of roles, including as a market maker in corporate credit for over 15 years and as a risk manager for the investment grade corporate bond business. In the final two years of his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Ram was the head of Morgan Stanley’s proprietary credit trading and capital structure arbitrage groups. In the early part of his career in Wall Street, Ram worked at DLJ futures for two years as an interest rate analyst. He graduated in 1980 from Yale University with a MBA. His undergraduate degree was in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, India.
 

Craig Henick

Head of Special Opportunities
Craig Henick is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Special Opportunities at Napier Park. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in 2006, Mr. Henick was a senior portfolio manager for Citigroup’s Municipal Proprietary Trading Desk where he co-managed a program of approximately $20bn in municipal bonds, including the $14bn Citibank TOB commencing in January 2005. Previously, Mr. Henick was a member of the team of Citigroup’s municipal secondary trading desk when it achieved a No.1 ranking in Institutional Investor’s 2004 survey. Prior to joining Citigroup in 2003, Mr. Henick managed municipal positions at JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Henick received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
 

Manu Rana

Head of Real Assets
Manu Rana joined Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), a predecessor to Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”) in 2007. Manu was among the founding partners of Napier Park when it separated from CCA, in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA, Manu was a Managing Director of Old Lane, where he led negotiated investments in financial services businesses. Manu joined Old Lane from Lazard Alternative Investments, where he was a Managing Director of the firm and a Principal of Lazard Technology Partners. At Lazard, Manu was responsible for equity and debt investments in financial- and related business, as well as information services investments. Manu started at Lazard in 1994, initially in its financial institutions investment banking group and, from 2000 on, he worked at Lazard Alternative Investments. Prior to Lazard, Manu was a member of A.T. Kearney’s financial institutions practice. Manu received a BA from Columbia University.
 

Donald Leitch

Senior Relationship Manager
Donald Leitch is a Senior Managing Director and Senior Client Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park"). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. He is also a Founding Partner and Management Committee member of Napier Park Global Capital. Don has over 30 years of experience within the financial services industry. Prior to joining CCA, the predecessor business to Napier Park, in 2009, Don consulted on business development for Bracebridge Capital, a $4 billion fixed income arbitrage hedge fund based in Boston, MA. Prior to that, Don enjoyed a 23 year career at Morgan Stanley where he held multiple roles within their Fixed Income Division and broader Institutional Securities Group. This included six years in Japan heading their international Japanese Government Bond sales team, eight years co-heading their Emerging Markets Debt business and eight years heading their firm wide hedge fund relationship management team and co-heading their hedge fund investment banking efforts. In the latter capacity, his team delivered private transactions to hedge funds and worked on other permanent capital and M&A transactions. Don earned a BS in Finance from New York University.
 

Michael Lashendock

Senior Relationship Manager
Michael Lashendock is a Senior Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Michael has over 30 years of experience in the structured credit sales and alternative investment capital raising space. Prior to joining CCA, Michael served as Managing Director at Carlton Hill Global Capital, a specialized asset management firm that was acquired by Citi in 2007. Prior to that, Michael spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley in the Fixed Income Division, in Credit Distribution, responsible for large institutional relationships in North America, three years as a Managing Director. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center. Michael has served on the Athletic Director’s Cabinet at the University of Michigan, where he also served on the Corporate Advisory Board at the Ross School of Business. He also served on the Board of Catholic Big Sisters and Big Brothers of NYC. He is an active triathlete and has completed two Ironmen. Michael earned his BBA degree in Finance at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
 

Nadja Marcoz

Senior Relationship Manager
Nadja Marcoz is a Senior Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in June 2009, Nadja worked as sales coverage for institutional accounts at Wachovia Securities. Between 2003 and 2007 Nadja worked for Citi Investment Bank - Credit Structured business covering both UHNW as well as institutional accounts. Between 1997 and 2003, Nadja was working as a product manager for offshore vehicles in London and Switzerland. Nadja started her career at Citi in Sydney (Australia) where she was recruited as a management associate. Nadja finalized her management associate program in Switzerland where she implemented a compliance program for the Citi Private Bank in Switzerland and Luxemburg. Nadja has an MBA (cum laude) from Neuchatel University (Switzerland).
 

Jeffrey Traum

General Counsel
Jeffrey Traum is a Senior Managing Director and the General Counsel of Napier Park Global Capital, where he is responsible for legal matters, transaction management, designing and implementing product offerings and coordinating strategic initiatives. Previously, Jeff was a Partner, Managing Director and Head of Product Management and Strategy at Napier Park and, until Napier Park’s 2013 separation from Citigroup, at Citi Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for strategic transactions and for the development and ongoing product management of hedge funds, private equity funds, structured products and other investment offerings. Prior to assuming that role, Jeff served as division chief operating officer, and earlier, as associate general counsel. Jeff joined Citigroup in 1998 from Willkie Farr & Gallagher, where he structured and negotiated public and private debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and investment management transactions. Jeff received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Tufts University and his J.D. from Georgetown University.
 

Julia He

Head of European CLO Business Dev & Head of European Credit Research
Julia He is a Senior Managing Director and Head of European CLO Business Development and European Credit Research at Napier Park Global Capital. Prior to joining the team in July 2004, Julia worked for Alcentra Ltd (formerly Barclays Capital Asset Management), in London, where she was an analyst focusing on high yield, stressed and distressed debt for CDO portfolios. Julia started her career at HSBC in China in 1995 as a corporate banking analyst and subsequently worked in the Treasury Department at Dow Chemical (China). Julia holds a B.A. in Economics and International Finance from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China (1995) and an M.B.A. from City University Business School in London (2000).
 

Joseph Lane

Vice Chairman, Chairman of Management Committee
Joe is a Senior Managing Director, Vice Chairman of Napier Park Global Capital, Chairman of the firm’s Management Committee and a Managing Director of the Real Assets strategy.  Joe joined Napier Park in 2015 and has over 40 years of experience in financial services. He has held a number of executive roles in the commercial finance sector, including president and CEO of GATX Capital; CEO of GE Technology Finance; president of IBM Credit Corporation, group executive of IBM Global Financing, and senior vice president of IBM Corporation. Joe currently serves on several corporate and philanthropic boards, and has served on boards in North America, Europe and Asia.

He has been a director, vice chairman and chairman of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), and a trustee and chairman of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation. In 2015 he was elected by the ELFA to the Equipment Finance Hall of Fame.

 Joe received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University, and is an Associate Fellow of Davenport College at Yale.

Michael Micko is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Michael joined CCA in August 2004, bringing approximately 15 years of relevant experience to the team. Prior to joining CCA, Michael headed high yield at Mellon Newton Investment Management. Previously, Michael was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust International focusing on Leverage Finance, and he also held the role as Treasurer of a listed corporate high yield issuer. Michael has a MBA from The Richard Ivey School in Canada (1991), has attended London Business School, and holds ME (Industrial Engineering) (1988) and BS (Electrical Engineering) (1987) degrees from the University of Alberta, Canada.
 

Rajesh Agarwal

Head of US Mortgages & Consumer
Rajesh Agarwal is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of US Mortgages & Consumer Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors in March 2008, Rajesh was a Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager in HSPI, LP formerly affiliated with Halcyon from 2006-2008. Prior to joining Halcyon from 2004-2006, Rajesh was a Senior Analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (“MLIM”), where he served as lead analyst for asset selection across residential housing sectors (Prime/Alt-A/Sub-Prime) and CDOs for three high-grade CDO deals launched and managed by MLIM. Prior to joining ABS/MBS research, he worked in the Global Markets and Investment Banking group at Merrill Lynch from 1998-2004. From 1996-1998, Rajesh was a Senior Engineer at Simulation Sciences, Inc., where he developed simulation algorithms used by the chemical industry. Rajesh received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
 

Daniel Slotkin

Global CLO Portfolio Manager
Daniel Slotkin is a Senior Managing Director and Global CLO Portfolio Manager at Napier Park. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Daniel Slotkin joined Citi in 1991 and prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors’ Leveraged Loan Investments team in 1998, Daniel worked in the Airlines Asset Distribution Department, Capital Markets Origination, Leveraged Loan Structuring and in the Relationship Management areas of Citi’s corporate bank. During his tenure in Leveraged Loan Investments, Daniel has led bank loan trading, portfolio strategy, loan workouts and worked as a credit analyst. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida.
 

Ram Putcha

Head of US Single Name & Credit Derivatives
Ram Putcha is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the US Single Name & Credit Derivatives strategy at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in March 2012, Ram spent close to four years as the Head of Relative Value/Credit Strategies at Citi Principal Strategies (“CPS”). At CPS, Ram ran over $500mm of trading capital in a proprietary trading portfolio that focused on relative value. In addition to credit long/short trades, the portfolio also focused on tranches, options and cross asset trades (such as equity vs. credit). Before his various roles at Citi, Ram was a Partner at Old Lane, a multi-strategy hedge fund that launched in April 2006 with over $4 billion in AUM. While at Old Lane, Ram was in charge of the firm’s credit strategies business. In this role, Ram oversaw two distinct portfolios: one that focused on loans and high yield, and another that focused on relative value trading across asset classes with an emphasis on finding mispriced opportunities in credit and equity products (including cash bonds, CDS, equities vs. credit, options and tranches). Prior to joining Old Lane at its inception, Ram worked at Morgan Stanley for over 20 years in a variety of roles, including as a market maker in corporate credit for over 15 years and as a risk manager for the investment grade corporate bond business. In the final two years of his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Ram was the head of Morgan Stanley’s proprietary credit trading and capital structure arbitrage groups. In the early part of his career in Wall Street, Ram worked at DLJ futures for two years as an interest rate analyst. He graduated in 1980 from Yale University with a MBA. His undergraduate degree was in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, India.
 

Craig Henick

Head of Special Opportunities
Craig Henick is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Special Opportunities at Napier Park. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in 2006, Mr. Henick was a senior portfolio manager for Citigroup’s Municipal Proprietary Trading Desk where he co-managed a program of approximately $20bn in municipal bonds, including the $14bn Citibank TOB commencing in January 2005. Previously, Mr. Henick was a member of the team of Citigroup’s municipal secondary trading desk when it achieved a No.1 ranking in Institutional Investor’s 2004 survey. Prior to joining Citigroup in 2003, Mr. Henick managed municipal positions at JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Henick received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
 

Manu Rana

Head of Real Assets
Manu Rana joined Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), a predecessor to Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”) in 2007. Manu was among the founding partners of Napier Park when it separated from CCA, in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA, Manu was a Managing Director of Old Lane, where he led negotiated investments in financial services businesses. Manu joined Old Lane from Lazard Alternative Investments, where he was a Managing Director of the firm and a Principal of Lazard Technology Partners. At Lazard, Manu was responsible for equity and debt investments in financial- and related business, as well as information services investments. Manu started at Lazard in 1994, initially in its financial institutions investment banking group and, from 2000 on, he worked at Lazard Alternative Investments. Prior to Lazard, Manu was a member of A.T. Kearney’s financial institutions practice. Manu received a BA from Columbia University.
 

Julia He

Head of European CLO Business Dev & Head of European Credit Research
Julia He is a Senior Managing Director and Head of European CLO Business Development and European Credit Research at Napier Park Global Capital. Prior to joining the team in July 2004, Julia worked for Alcentra Ltd (formerly Barclays Capital Asset Management), in London, where she was an analyst focusing on high yield, stressed and distressed debt for CDO portfolios. Julia started her career at HSBC in China in 1995 as a corporate banking analyst and subsequently worked in the Treasury Department at Dow Chemical (China). Julia holds a B.A. in Economics and International Finance from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China (1995) and an M.B.A. from City University Business School in London (2000).
 

Joseph Lane

Vice Chairman, Chairman of Management Committee
Joe is a Senior Managing Director, Vice Chairman of Napier Park Global Capital, Chairman of the firm’s Management Committee and a Managing Director of the Real Assets strategy.  Joe joined Napier Park in 2015 and has over 40 years of experience in financial services. He has held a number of executive roles in the commercial finance sector, including president and CEO of GATX Capital; CEO of GE Technology Finance; president of IBM Credit Corporation, group executive of IBM Global Financing, and senior vice president of IBM Corporation. Joe currently serves on several corporate and philanthropic boards, and has served on boards in North America, Europe and Asia.

He has been a director, vice chairman and chairman of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), and a trustee and chairman of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation. In 2015 he was elected by the ELFA to the Equipment Finance Hall of Fame.

 Joe received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University, and is an Associate Fellow of Davenport College at Yale.
 

Sheldon Sussman

Global Head of Asset-Backed Private Credit Origination
Sheldon Sussman is a Managing Director and Global Head of Asset-Backed Private Credit Origination at Napier Park Global Capital. Before joining Napier Park, Sheldon was Head of EMEA at Cohen Circle executing the firm’s SPAC and Fintech investment strategies. Prior to Cohen Circle, he was a senior investment professional at Elliott Advisors and earlier, at Towerbrook Capital Partners. In both investment firms, Mr. Sussman originated financial services focused private equity and asset-based private credit investments. Before Towerbrook, Sheldon was Senior Executive Vice President and member of the Managing Board of Rabobank International in charge of Global Financial Markets and Asset Management. In this capacity, he built an asset management platform totaling more than $25 billion in asset-based and leveraged loan investments. Earlier in his career, Sheldon held senior roles in investment banking and financial markets at Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, and Bankers Trust. Sheldon graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers College (BA in Economics) and has MBA (Finance) and MPH degrees from Yale University.
 

Alexander Maldutis

Managing Director
Alexander Maldutis is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of the Special Opportunities strategy at Napier Park Global Capital which he joined in early 2017. This strategy invests in credit assets whose characteristics place them outside the scope of traditional, widely distributed bonds or loans. Prior to this he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 7 years; as Global Head of Structured Credit Trading he led the merger of two of the largest derivative books in the industry and then as Co-Head of the Global Non Linear Group he helped combine structured credit and macro trading to form an integrated structured fixed income business. Before BAML Mr. Maldutis managed a wide variety of structured credit, macro, and other position types at HSBC, Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Morgan Stanley, where he started his career in 1994. He spent 6 years in London and was one of the early originators of the credit derivative and synthetic structured credit products. He holds a BA, MIA, and MBA from Columbia University.
 

Batur Bicer

Managing Director
Batur Bicer is a Portfolio Manager focusing on investment strategies related to structured credit products in both cash and synthetic markets at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to CCA, Batur served two years as Vice President at Goldman Sachs as a Credit Strategist covering primarily credit derivative products where he was responsible for recommending trade ideas and providing quantitative solutions for both internal and external clients. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Batur worked as a Credit Strategy Research Analyst for five years at Barclays Capital where he published weekly reports on the structured credit market. Batur has also been involved in various industry forums and networks, including the investor roundtables for different ratings agencies. He frequently appears as a speaker at multiple industry conferences and panels. Batur has a PhD degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University and a BS from Bogazici University.
 

Robert O’Brien

Managing Director
Robert O’Brien is a Managing Director and is the senior leveraged loan trader at Napier Park. Bob joined Citi Capital Advisors’ (“CCA”) Leveraged Loan Investments team in 2003. Prior to joining CCA, Bob worked as a Research Associate in Bear Stearns’ High Grade Research department in the Financial Institutions group. Bob graduated from Boston University with a BS in Business Administration.
 

Melanie Hanlon

Managing Director
Melanie Hanlon is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Research at Napier Park Global Capital. Melanie Hanlon joined Citi in September 1999 and was part of Citi Capital Advisors’ (“CCA”) Leveraged Loan Investments team since 2001. Before joining CCA, Melanie was a Director with Bank of Montreal's Asset Portfolio Management group. Earlier positions include a relationship manager with Societe Generale and a credit analyst with NationsBank. Melanie holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA with a double major in Finance and Management from New York University.
 

Chao Zhou

Managing Director
Chao Zhou is Managing Director and co-Portfolio Manager of the ABS and MBS Strategies team at Napier Park Global Capital. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors, in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in March 2008, Chao was an Associate in HSPI, LP formerly affiliated with Halcyon from 2006–2008. Prior to joining Halcyon, he was a Quantitative Research Associate at Amaranth Advisors, where he focused on modeling and pricing CDOs and ABS securities with the securitized product group. Chao previously held positions as a Software Engineer and a Technical Manager at Net2Phone Inc. Chao also worked in Tsinghua University’s Mathematics Department in Beijing, where he conducted research on open source mathematical software and ultimately published his results. Chao received a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia University in 2006. Chao also holds a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Computational Mathematics, both from Tsinghua University.
 

Mohammed El Khazzar

Managing Director
Mohammed El-Khazzar is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for European Credit Strategies at Napier Park. Mohammed joined from AXA Investment Managers in Paris where he worked in the structured finance division as a credit analyst focusing on the leveraged loans market. His responsibilities at AXA included providing trading ideas in primary and secondary markets as well as portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining AXA IM, Mohammed spent two years as an auditor at Deloitte in Casablanca where he serviced a large number of clients in different industries. Mohammed holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Strategy from Sciences Po Paris (2008).
 

Scott Lorinsky

Managing Director and Associate General Counsel
Scott Lorinsky is a Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors, in February 2013. At Napier Park, Scott is responsible for legal matters across the platform, with specific focus on Napier Park’s European Credit Products and CLOs, including Regatta Loan Management, a capitalized manager vehicle established to address risk retention rules. Prior to joining Citigroup in 2005, Scott was a senior associate at Latham & Watkins, specializing in leveraged loan and asset securitizations. Prior to Latham & Watkins, Scott was a senior associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett focusing on corporate finance. Scott received his A.B., cum laude, from Duke University and his J.D. from Columbia Law School.
 

Evan X. Odim, Sr.

Managing Director
Evan X. Odim, Sr. is a Managing Director and Head of Napier Park’s US CLO portfolio operations team. Previously, Evan was a Credit Trader in the Relative Value/Credit Strategies group at Citi Principal Strategies (“CPS”). CPS was a proprietary trading portfolio which focused on long/short credit, tranches, options and cross asset trading. Evan’s earlier experience included a position with the Credit team at Old Lane, a multi-strategy hedge fund, and part of the Operations group at Fore Research & Management, a credit hedge fund. Evan holds a BBA in Information Systems & Management from the University of Wisconsin. Evan serves as a mentor to a young professional who he met through StreetWise Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating employment opportunities for individuals from historically overlooked and under-resourced communities.
 

Tim Ruberti

Managing Director
Tim Ruberti is a Managing Director on the Mortgage and Consumer Strategies team of Napier Park Global Capital. He primarily focuses on expanding the team’s private debt exposure by working closely with existing originators, while developing new channels within the residential, commercial and consumer loan markets. Over 10 loan origination partners have been onboarded to date across various loan strategies. He also manages legal and financing relationships for the team, and the extensive documentation process that governs our various strategies. Additionally, Tim works closely with the Napier Park sales and marketing teams on calls and meetings in order to cultivate institutional investor relationships, provide portfolio investment updates and hone strategy and messaging. Tim joined Napier Park in May 2013, after covering the ABS and MBS Strategies team for a decade, first as a Vice President in Mortgage Sales at Goldman Sachs and finally as a Director at UBS. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he co-founded and operated a data services provider, serving small business customers throughout the Northeast corridor. Tim graduated with a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
 

Christopher Sparrow

Managing Director
Chris joined Napier Park in 2019, based in London, and focuses on its Real Assets investments in the transportation and renewable energy sectors. Previously, Chris was a Vice President at DVB Bank, working in the aviation principal investment team, where he was responsible for origination, underwriting and financing of the funds’ investments in physical aircraft and engine assets, interacting directly with LPs, finance providers and airlines. Prior to joining DVB, Chris was an Equity Research Analyst at Numis Securities, focusing on the aerospace and engineering sectors. Chris received an MPhil from Cambridge University, an MA from Edinburgh University and a Diploma in Physics from The Open University. He also holds an EASA Airline Transport Pilot License with over 2,500 hours on the Airbus 320 family of aircraft.
 

Ross Sylvester

Managing Director
Ross joined Napier Park in 2016, based in New York. At Napier Park, Ross focuses on the sourcing, underwriting and structuring of the firm’s Real Assets investments in the transportation and renewable energy sectors. Prior to joining Napier Park, Ross was an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Macquarie Capital, where he focused on the execution of specialty finance mergers & acquisitions and joint venture formations, including Napier Park’s railcar leasing and early-life aircraft investment programs. Ross received a BA in Mathematics and BS in Economics from Duke University.
 

Lance Davis

Managing Director
Lance joined Napier Park in 2022. Lance was previously Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of Trinity Industries, Inc. During his 31 year career at Trinity, Lance held numerous finance and accounting leadership positions, including heading up Trinity’s capital markets and investor services organization which lead to the development of Napier Park’s railcar leasing investments. Lance’s experience includes over $10 billion of railcar leasing financing transactions. Lance holds a BS in Accounting from Texas A&M University and passed the CPA exam in 1994.
 

Noelle Sisco, CFA, CAIA

Managing Director
Elle Sisco is a Managing Director and Portfolio Strategist for Credit Strategies at Napier Park. Prior to this role, Elle served as a Vice President in Napier Park’s Product Management team, specializing in the firm’s structured credit strategies. Before joining Napier Park in May 2016, Elle spent 3 years at the alternative investment manager, ISAM, focusing on business development for the firm’s quantitative investment program. Elle earned her BA in Economics at Rutgers University, where she was also a member of the school’s Division I Softball Program. Elle earned the CAIA designation in 2014 and became a CFA charter holder in 2017. Elle serves as a member of the AIMA Research Committee.
 

Michael O'Brien

Director
Mike is a Director within the Credit Strategies team.  He is the head trader and oversees the planning and execution of all investment grade, high yield, derivative, and option trades.  Mike joined Carlton Hill Global Capital (the firm that ultimately became Napier Park Global Capital) in 2007.  Prior to joining Napier Park, he was a portfolio manager at Alliance Bernstein where we was responsible for insurance and structured settlement mandates.  Mike has over 15 years of experience covering all aspects of trading – execution, settlement, operations, risk, and reporting. 

Mike holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.  He remains active in the alumni community and mentors current students through the Rutgers Leadership Academy and the Rutgers Road to Wall Street programs.
 

Andre Shmain

Director
Andre Shmain is an analyst focusing on data analytics and valuations for structured credit products at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Prior to joining Napier Park in June 2018, Andre spent six years as Principal at Oak Hill Advisors (“OHA”) where he was responsible for building systems to analyze CLO investments. Prior to his position at OHA, Andre worked in CDO analytics group at Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital for five years providing quantitative solutions to CLO structuring and secondary trading desks. Andre received MS in computer science from Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation.
 

Rishabh Misra

Director
Rishabh Misra is a Quantitative Specialist for the ABS and MBS Strategies team at Napier Park Global Capital.  Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors, in February 2013. Rishabh has supported the group since June 2008. Previous roles at CCA include supporting the Citi Fixed Income Alternatives group and Technology. Prior to joining CCA in 2004, he worked in technology consulting at Avesta Computer Services and before that at Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd., a subsidiary of Citicorp. Rishabh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
 

Sanjeeb Rao

Director
Sanjeeb Rao is a Director and Senior Quantitative Analyst for the ABS and MBS Strategies team at Napier Park Global Capital.  Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors, in February 2013. Sanjeeb joined CCA in March 2008 as a systems/modeling specialist. Prior to joining CCA, Sanjeeb was a Vice President in HSPI, LP formerly affiliated with Halcyon from 2006–2008. Prior to joining Halcyon (since 2004), Sanjeeb was a Vice President in the primary fixed income division at Wachovia. From 2000-2004, Sanjeeb worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SSI Technologies and worked as consultant for Merrill Lynch and Department of Health & Human Services. Sanjeeb received an MBA in Finance and Quantitative Finance from New York University - Stern and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Berhampur University, India.
 

Joseph Riggi

Managing Director
Joe joined is a Managing Director at Napier Park in New York where he serves as an investment professional focused on stressed credit investing across all major sectors. Joe joined Napier as part of the spin out from Citi Capital Advisor’s (“CCA”) in February 2013. During his tenure at Napier, Joe has been an investment analyst with both the CLO and Stressed Credit teams. Prior to CCA, Joe worked at Carlton Hill Global Capital as a Portfolio Analyst. Joe was responsible for structured credit modeling and portfolio analytics for a first loss tranche investment vehicle. Joe received his BS from Seton Hall University where he majored in Finance and is a CFA charterholder.
 

Shachar Minkove

Managing Director
Shachar Minkove is a Managing Director with over 20 years of experience investing in credit and special situations. Shachar joined Napier Park in 2013 and is currently an investment analyst focused on Energy, Industrials, Metals & Mining, Paper & Packaging, and Power. Prior to joining Napier Park he worked as an analyst at Perry Capital and BNP Paribas. Shachar started his career at JP Morgan where he spent 12 years in various groups including High Yield Research, Proprietary Trading, and the Loan and Distressed Trading Group. Shachar graduated with honors from Yeshiva University.
 

Lawrence O

Managing Director
Lawrence (Larry) O joined Napier Park through its transition from Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), which he joined in 2008. Larry currently serves as a Managing Director and investment analyst in the US Credit Research group. Prior to joining CCA, Larry worked at KBC Alternative Investments, where he was the senior credit analyst for KBC’s multi-strategy platform since 2003. Prior to joining KBC, Larry worked at Bank of America Securities as a Vice President and distressed research analyst covering special situations and ‘busted’ convertible bonds from 1999 through 2003. His career began in 1996 with Chase Securities as a high yield desk analyst after completing Chase’s Investment Banking Analyst Program. Larry holds a BE degree in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Art and Science.

Abe Saldivar joined Napier Park in 2015 and is a Director in the US Credit Research group focusing on Autos, Building Materials, and Chemicals. Abe started his career at Morgan Stanley, and was there for 7 years in various groups including Leveraged Finance (Global Capital Markets), Investment Banking, and Sales & Trading. Prior to joining Napier Park, Abe worked as a Par Loan & Distressed Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Abe earned his double BBA from St. Mary’s University (Texas).
 

Ryan Olsen

Director
Ryan Olsen is a Director and investment analyst focusing on strategies related to structured credit products at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Prior to joining Napier Park in June 2014, Ryan was an analyst at Citigroup Global Markets within Citi Investment Research and Analysis (“CIRA”) where he focused on the structured credit strategy. Prior to his role with CIRA, Ryan spent a year with CitiFX Quantitative Investor Solutions developing fundamental and technical systematic currency trading strategies. Ryan graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kevin Lam

Director
Kevin Lam, CFA is an investment analyst and has over 10 years of Fixed Income and Credit Investing experience. Prior to joining Napier Park, Kevin worked as a Credit Analyst at Fitch Ratings, an Investment Banking Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and as a High Yield Credit Analyst at MetLife Investments. Kevin earned his BBA from Pace University and an MBA from The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
 

Diarmuid Curran

Diarmuid Curran is a Junior Portfolio Manager for European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital. Diarmuid joined from Assured Investment Management (formerly known as BlueMountain Capital Management) in London where he worked in the European CLO team from the inception of Assured’s European CLO business. His responsibilities at Assured Investment Management included trading, credit underwriting and portfolio management for the European CLOs. Federico Della Torre

Vice President
Federico Della Torre is an Investment Analyst for European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital. Prior to joining Napier Park, Federico worked for Citigroup for 6 years, where he was a senior associate in the Leveraged Finance team and advised corporate and financial sponsor clients on origination, structuring and execution of high yield bond and leveraged loan debt for LBO, M&A, carve-out and refinancing transactions across Europe and emerging markets. Federico started his career in the investment banking graduate programme at Citigroup. He holds a BSc (First) in Economics and Finance (2011) and a Master of Science in Finance (2013) from Bocconi University in Milan.
 

Timo Seidl

Director
Timo Seidl is a Portfolio Manager for European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital. Prior to joining Napier Park, Timo worked for Goldman Sachs in London, where he was part of the CLO Origination and Alternative Capital Raising team. He focused on structuring and distributing European warehouses and CLOs and also worked on Capitalized Manager Vehicle (CMV) and other private fund raises. Timo holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from Ludwig Maximilian University Munich (2013) and a MSc in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (2016).
 

Simon Benazera

Vice President
Simon Benazera is an Investment Analyst for European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital. Prior to joining Napier Park, Simon worked for J.P. Morgan in London for 4 years, where he was an Associate in the CLO Primary team. He focused on structuring and distributing European CLOs. Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lille (2015) and a MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School (2017).
 

Tim Greatorex

Co-President
Tim Greatorex is a Senior Managing Director and Co-President of Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”), where he is responsible for overseeing business and product development with respect to both portfolio management and client activities.  As such, he leads the effort on product design and structuring as well as being responsible for management of the sales and marketing process.  Prior to joining Napier Park in 2015, Tim worked in Citigroup’s Treasury for 4 years as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Citi Treasury Investments managing a $250 billion liquidity and investment portfolio across rates, mortgages, and credit.  Tim also had responsibility for Citigroup’s US Pension Plan.  Before becoming CIO, Tim spent over 15 years in alternative asset management at Citi, focusing on product and business development and was latterly Co-Head of Global Credit Structures, the group responsible for structured credit product. Prior to joining Citi, Tim spent 4 years at British Gas where he was responsible for capital markets and derivative activity.  Tim began his career at Midland Montagu in the assessment and management of market risk. Tim holds a first class honors degree in Economics from Loughborough University in the UK.
 

Michael Lashendock

Senior Relationship Manager
Michael Lashendock is a Senior Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Michael has over 30 years of experience in the structured credit sales and alternative investment capital raising space. Prior to joining CCA, Michael served as Managing Director at Carlton Hill Global Capital, a specialized asset management firm that was acquired by Citi in 2007. Prior to that, Michael spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley in the Fixed Income Division, in Credit Distribution, responsible for large institutional relationships in North America, three years as a Managing Director. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center. Michael has served on the Athletic Director’s Cabinet at the University of Michigan, where he also served on the Corporate Advisory Board at the Ross School of Business. He also served on the Board of Catholic Big Sisters and Big Brothers of NYC. He is an active triathlete and has completed two Ironmen. Michael earned his BBA degree in Finance at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
 

Nadja Marcoz

Senior Relationship Manager
Nadja Marcoz is a Senior Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA in June 2009, Nadja worked as sales coverage for institutional accounts at Wachovia Securities. Between 2003 and 2007 Nadja worked for Citi Investment Bank - Credit Structured business covering both UHNW as well as institutional accounts. Between 1997 and 2003, Nadja was working as a product manager for offshore vehicles in London and Switzerland. Nadja started her career at Citi in Sydney (Australia) where she was recruited as a management associate. Nadja finalized her management associate program in Switzerland where she implemented a compliance program for the Citi Private Bank in Switzerland and Luxemburg. Nadja has an MBA (cum laude) from Neuchatel University (Switzerland).
 

Donald Leitch

Senior Relationship Manager
Donald Leitch is a Senior Managing Director and Senior Client Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park"). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. He is also a Founding Partner and Management Committee member of Napier Park Global Capital. Don has over 30 years of experience within the financial services industry. Prior to joining CCA, the predecessor business to Napier Park, in 2009, Don consulted on business development for Bracebridge Capital, a $4 billion fixed income arbitrage hedge fund based in Boston, MA. Prior to that, Don enjoyed a 23 year career at Morgan Stanley where he held multiple roles within their Fixed Income Division and broader Institutional Securities Group. This included six years in Japan heading their international Japanese Government Bond sales team, eight years co-heading their Emerging Markets Debt business and eight years heading their firm wide hedge fund relationship management team and co-heading their hedge fund investment banking efforts. In the latter capacity, his team delivered private transactions to hedge funds and worked on other permanent capital and M&A transactions. Don earned a BS in Finance from New York University.
 

Ewan Labrom

Senior Relationship Manager
Ewan Labrom is a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining CCA, Ewan spent over 20 years at Morgan Stanley. From 2003 to 2008, Ewan was Managing Director, Head of UK Structured Credit Sales, focusing on CDOs, ABS, managed funds and real estate loans as well as bank regulatory capital release. In 1998, Ewan established Fixed Income coverage of UK insurance companies and pension funds, developing the Eurosterling franchise, placement of the inaugural long dated, fixed rate Sterling securitisations and hedging insurance companies' annuity liabilities. Ewan spent six years marketing all Fixed Income products, including cash rates, derivatives, emerging market debt and high yield to institutional fund managers. Ewan was Yen product specialist and key to the firm attaining Gilt-Edged Market Making status. Ewan joined Morgan Stanley in Corporate Coverage and began his career at Midland Bank as a credit analyst. Ewan has an MBA with Distinction from London Business School and a BS in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University.
 

Brett Kalesky

Senior Relationship Manager
Brett Kalesky is a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Brett spent 25 years working at Morgan Stanley across a variety of job functions including sales, trading, product management, and capital markets for securitized fixed income products. Brett worked in both the New York and London offices; with the majority of his 25 years spent in London. His most recent role in London included the management of the specialized Securitized Product sales effort responsible for institutional client coverage across Europe. Prior to joining Napier Park, Brett was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets group for Bridge Investment Group responsible for raising capital for Real Estate Equity and Debt focused strategies from all major investor categories. Brett received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers Business School, Rutgers University.
 

Cecilia Chiang

Senior Relationship Manager
Cecilia Chiang is a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Cecilia was part of the Institutional Client Product & Sales team at Apollo Global Management, focused on private credit and other opportunistic credit strategies.  Prior to Apollo, she was the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Columbus Hill, a value oriented opportunistic credit manager. From 2007 to 2012, she was the Director of Investor Relations at King Street, an event driven, credit manager.  Cecilia began her career at JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, marketing interest rate derivatives solutions for corporates.  She earned a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA Chartholder.
 

Chris Nordsiek

Senior Relationship Manager
Chris Nordsiek is a Director of Client Relations and Business Development at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Prior to joining Napier Park in 2023, Chris was the Director of Strategy and Product Development at Angel Island Capital in San Francisco. From 2011-2018, Chris worked at Golub Capital in New York, first in traded credit investing and later as a product specialist. Prior to Golub, Chris traded non-investment-grade credit default swaps and bonds at Barclays Capital. Chris graduated from Colgate University in 2006.
 

Anoop Rathod, CFA

Senior Relationship Manager
Anoop Rathod is a Director and Senior Relationship Manager at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Prior to joining Napier Park in 2023, Anoop was an account executive in PIMCO’s nonprofit and private family capital institutional practice for several years based in Austin. Before PIMCO, he was the founder of Fort Mercer Capital Management which specialized in a macro-thematic U.S. equities strategy. Anoop began his career at Lehman Brothers in 2007 as a member of the U.S equities syndicate group. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2007.
 

Paul Curmi

Managing Director
Paul Curmi is a Managing Director and head of Napier Park’s global product and investor relations effort. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors, in February 2013. In addition to his role in Product Management, Paul is the Chairman of the firm’s ESG Committee. Paul graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Paul is on the Board of Directors of Advancing CTNNB1 Cures and Treatments, a non-profit which supports the development of treatments and cures for CTNNB1 Syndrome.
 

Amit Sanghani

Managing Director
Amit Sanghani is a Managing Director and Product Specialist for Napier Park's Global Credit and Real Asset Strategies. While at Napier Park, Amit has previously been responsible for the business development, strategic planning, client relations and marketing of the European corporate and structured credit business and related products. Prior to Napier Park, Amit previously worked in structured credit products at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London. His focus was primarily in originating and structuring European CLOs and worked on a variety of credit/distressed debt products and regulatory capital solutions. He holds a B.Sc. (First) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a M.A in Mathematical Finance from Columbia University in New York (2005).
 

Wolfgang Dressler

Managing Director
Wolfgang Dressler is a Managing Director for European Credit Strategies at Napier Park Global Capital, responsible for the product management, business development, strategic planning, client relations and marketing. Wolfgang works closely with the portfolio managers in building out existing business channels, while identifying new strategic initiatives within European credit markets. Prior to joining in 2021, he spent more than 6 years in the alternatives product team at PIMCO in London and previously worked for UBS in Zurich. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Mannheim and a M.Sc. in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
 

Conner Rosenow, CFA

Director, Product Specialist
Conner Rosenow is a Director and Product Specialist at Napier Park, involved with business development, strategic planning, client relations and marketing for the US corporate and structured credit business and related products. In addition to this role, Conner helps lead the Responsible Investment team and ESG efforts. Prior to joining Napier Park in 2018, Conner spent 2 years at FinServ Consulting. Conner holds a B.A. in Public Policy from UNC Chapel Hill (2014) and a Master’s from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (2016).
 

Lu Lin, CFA

Director, Product Specialist
Lu Lin, CFA is a Director and Product Specialist at Napier Park. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, she was the lead product specialist at Stone Ridge Asset Management, where she worked closely with portfolio managers and sales, covering their multi-strategy alternatives fund. During her tenure at Stone Ridge, she also led fundraising efforts in launching their first ever post-war and contemporary art fund. Prior to Stone Ridge, she held various roles at BlackRock, with exposures spanning from the Aladdin business to global fixed income product strategy. Lu earned a BS in mathematics from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a CFA charterholder.
 

Michael Williams

Co-President
Michael Williams is a Senior Managing Director and Co-President of Napier Park Global Capital where he is responsible for all platform operations and financing activities. As such, he leads the Operations, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management activities. Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (CCA), in February 2013. Michael was previously the Chief Operating Officer for CCA; responsible for Operations, Finance, Human Resources and IT for the platform as well as Chief Financial Officer for Market Strategies. Prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors in 2007, he was the CFO of Carlton Hill Global Capital (CHGC), where he helped launch the firm in 2006. Prior to CHGC, he worked as a Principal in charge of middle office services for credit derivative and structured financial products at Bank of America Securities and as a Vice President with JPMorgan Chase. As a Director at Barclays Capital, he oversaw certain risk management and product control operations with respect to interest rate and credit derivative products. Michael began his career as a global swap trade analyst for Merrill Lynch. Michael earned a BS degree in Finance from Providence College.
 

Jeffrey Traum

General Counsel
Jeffrey Traum is a Senior Managing Director and the General Counsel of Napier Park Global Capital, where he is responsible for legal matters, transaction management, designing and implementing product offerings and coordinating strategic initiatives. Previously, Jeff was a Partner, Managing Director and Head of Product Management and Strategy at Napier Park and, until Napier Park’s 2013 separation from Citigroup, at Citi Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for strategic transactions and for the development and ongoing product management of hedge funds, private equity funds, structured products and other investment offerings. Prior to assuming that role, Jeff served as division chief operating officer, and earlier, as associate general counsel. Jeff joined Citigroup in 1998 from Willkie Farr & Gallagher, where he structured and negotiated public and private debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and investment management transactions. Jeff received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Tufts University and his J.D. from Georgetown University.
 

Ali Mostafavee

Managing Director, Chief Risk Officer
Ali Mostafavee is a Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer for Napier Park Global Capital. Prior to joining Napier Park (“Napier Park”), Ali served as Head of Portfolio Risk at Spartus Capital Management (2011-2013), a startup equity volatility hedge fund. Prior to Spartus, Ali held the same position at Pardus Capital Management (2010-2011), an activist event driven hedge fund manager. From 2008 to 2010, Ali was Director of Prime Brokerage Risk at UBS where he managed the risks of financing credit, distressed, equity long/short and merger arbitrage hedge fund portfolios. From 2006-2008, Ali served as Director of Risk Analysis at Tribeca Global Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund. While at Tribeca, he focused on emerging market credit, credit arbitrage, merger arbitrage, and convertible arbitrage strategies and led the implementation of RiskMetrics across strategies. From 1994 through 2005, Ali served as a market risk manager at Credit Suisse First Boston. While at CSFB, he risk managed many derivative trading strategies including fixed income, money market and foreign exchange. He also risk managed private equity and direct investment portfolios. Ali earned his BA in Economics from Dickinson College in 1993 and earned his MA in Economics from New York University in 2001.
 

Peter Manion

Head of Operations and Technology
Peter Manion is a Managing Director and the Head of Operations and Technology for Napier Park Global Capital. Peter has over 30 years of structured credit products experience, with a successful work history at large banks and small financial companies alike. Leading up to the formation of Napier Park, Peter has been a member of the team at Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”) and Carlton Hill Global Capital LLC (‘CHGC”), both Napier Predecessors, since 2006. Prior to CHGC, Peter was a senior middle office manager at Citigroup Alternative Investment’s Tribeca Global Investments L.P. (“TGI”). Peter also held leadership roles at Bank of America as a Principal in Global Structured Products and at CGA Investment Management as a Portfolio Compliance and Reporting Officer. Peter also spent seven years at Merrill Lynch in various structured products middle office functions, where he was instrumental in helping to build out support for various credit businesses. Peter holds an M.B.A. from Fordham University and an Undergraduate degree in Finance from Manhattan College.
 

Spyro Stathonikos

Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer
Spyro is the Chief Financial Officer at Napier Park Global Capital. Spyro joined Citi Capital Advisors in 2005 as the controller and finance manager of a fixed income multi-strategy hedge fund platform. Spyro’s responsibilities include product management, accounting and valuation oversight, and financial analysis. Prior to joining Napier Park, Spyro worked in KPMG’s audit practice focusing on public company and alternative investment audits. Spyro received a BComm from the Haskayne School of Business, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta (Canada).
 

Emily Macina

Managing Director, Chief Human Resources Officer
Emily Macina is a Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer for Napier Park Global Capital where she is responsible for leading all aspects of the Human Resources function including talent management, compensation, benefits and corporate culture. Ms. Macina was previously the Human Resources Generalist for Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), until Napier Park separated from Citigroup in February, 2013. Prior to joining CCA, Ms. Macina acted as the Senior Program Coordinator for Citigroup’s Global Banking and Capital Markets groups. Ms. Macina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The College of New Jersey.
 

Sonia Plata

Managing Director, Chief Compliance Officer
Sonia Plata is Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of Napier Park and is responsible for establishing and implementing the firm’s global compliance program as well as serving as counsel for Municipal Investment Strategies and the Client Relations teams. Previously, she served as Assistant General Counsel at Citigroup where she provided legal counsel to the US and international compliance teams supporting the distribution of alternative investment products and it’s fund of funds, municipal strategies, product development and private equity fund business units. Prior to joining Citigroup, Sonia was an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, specializing in mergers & acquisitions and private fund work. Sonia earned her B.A. in Political Science (1994) and J.D. (1999) from Columbia University.
 

Erik Wynkoop

Strategy & Technology Infrastructure
Erik Wynkoop leads global Strategy and Technology Infrastructure for Napier Park Global Capital. Napier Park is a Global Alternative Asset Manager focused primarily on credit. Erik leads strategic programs and initiatives across Client, Operations and Product. He is responsible for the annual strategy planning process, firm data and analytics, global project management, vendor management, and firm technology.
Prior Napier Park, Erik was a member of the N.A. Leadership Team at Ericsson Inc. During his time at Ericsson, Erik held various roles within the digital, big data, analytics, cloud, and mobile infrastructure. He executed a digital practice growth plan resulting in 300% annual recurring revenue growth within a 3-year period. 
When not working, Erik spends time with family, exercising, volunteering, and mentoring early career professionals. 
Mr. Wynkoop holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Miami University where he currently serves as an Executive Advisory Board member.
